About Camarata Music
The five ensembles of Camarata Music (the Camarata ‘Chorale’, Camarata ‘Chamber Singers’, Camarata ‘Children’s Choir’, Camarata ‘Orchestra’, and Camarata ‘Big Band’), along with various, are the heart and soul of the international music scene in South Korea. Led by their conductor and artistic director, Dr. Ryan Goessl, the ensembles often join forces with Korea’s (and abroad) top professional soloists to create aesthetic and emotional stimulating music performances of the world’s greatest loved musical compositions, from the renaissance to current day.

Founded in 2009, Camarata Music’s ‘Chorale’ and ‘Chamber Singers’ perform six major concerts per year, leading up to their annual tradition of Handel’s Messiah, performed with choir, orchestra, and soloists, every December, the week before Christmas. The choirs have been seen in performance at many of the best performing venues in Korea, including, but not limited to: the Seoul Arts Center, Hoam Art Hall, Kookmin University, Chungdong First Methodist Church 3-14 Art Hall, Hyatt Hotel, Conrad Hotel, and many more.
Camarata Music believes that music is for all, and that all have a love for classical music, even if they don’t realize it yet. One of the most culturally diverse organizations in the world, seventy-Three countries have been represented with Camarata Music since it’s inception. It is with this fact and mindset that we strive to create a setting for people from all nationalities, to perform together in a mutual setting, creating the language that transcends all cultures and languages: music.
